PROGRAM OF YOUR VISIT

• You decide the departure time and our driver will pick you up anywhere in Paris*.
• Once arrived in Versailles, our driver will help you discover Versailles. If you choose the option "Castle tour with our qualified guide", he will guide you during the Castle visit. If you prefer, you can visit the Castle on your own thanks to the audio-guided comments*.
• Our driver guide will accompany you through the French style gardens by Le Notre and to the Trianons.
• At the end of the tour, we will drop you off in Paris where you wish to*.

This program can be modified according to the compulsory timetable for the option "Castle tour with qualified guide".

VERSAILLES CASTLE AND THE TRIANONS

Discover the most fabulous rooms of the Versailles castle:

• The King's Grand Apartments, a succession of lounges richly decorated rooms to the glory of the Sun King.
• The Hall of Mirrors: masterpiece of Versailles! 17 windows decorated with mirrors that open onto the gardens follow one another along the 73 meters of the gallery. Colbert, wishing to compete with products from Venice, created a factory in Paris to manufacture these mirrors of exceptional dimensions.
• The King's Chamber which occupied the center of the castle in 1701 and which was the main framework for the king's ruling life.
• The Queen's chambers, the chamber is the main room of the apartment, the one where the Queen spent most of her time. She slept here, often joined by the King.
• The Grand Trianon: in 1687, Jules Hardouin Mansart built the Grand Trianon, probably the most refined group of buildings anywhere in the domain of Versailles, which Louis XIV had had built to escape the rigid formality of court life with his mistress Madame de Montespan.
• The "Petit" Trianon, where Marie-Antoinette made her life far from the main chateau...

THE GARDENS OF VERSAILLES

Enjoy your free time to stroll the magnificent French gardens designed by Le Nôtre: nature is tamed, flowerbeds are geometric and the aisles are structured. The fountains, pools and terraces obey the laws of optical illusion, so the Grand Canal seems close when standing at the foot of the castle.

FOUNTAIN WATER SHOW and MUSIC GARDENS

From May 22nd to October 31st, the fountains come to life and you can watch the fabulous spectacle of the great waters set to baroque music. The "Grandes Eaux de Versailles" show takes place on Saturdays and Sundays, the "Jardins Musicaux de Versailles" takes place from Tuesday to Friday.
